Komodo is part of the East Nusa Tenggara province in Indonesia and forms part of the Komodo National Park. It lies between neighbouring Sumbawa island to the west and Flores to the east.

The largest lizard on Earth, known as the Komodo Dragon can be found in Komodo.

Komodo is a popular diving destination and has been included into the “New 7 Wonders of Nature” list. Komodo is well known for it’s fierce currents and is only recommended for experienced divers.
